Our Escape Pods are something pretty special—often described as ‘pods for people who don’t do pods!’ They are equipped with smart TVs, integrated Bluetooth speakers and ambient lighting for a cosy modern touch. Step outside to enjoy a wonderful open-air heated shower complete with saloon doors and a comfortable outdoor seating area. Inside, there is a floating super king bed, a desk, and a chair. If the weather isn’t on your side, you also have a compact but convenient en-suite shower and toilet*.

Our Woodland Rooms are tucked away from the main Juicy Village, offering an extra sense of privacy. Each one backs onto a little wooded area, where the morning sun glistens and filters beautifully through the trees. Each of these rooms has a lovely deck with relaxing seating and an outdoor cast-iron claw-foot bath, perfect for those who want to indulge in some moon bathing.

The Waves are entirely bespoke, designed exclusively for Juicy Escape. We wanted to create something totally unique— our own reimagined, sophisticated take on a standard eco cabin. The inspiration was to design something that would complement the magnificent natural surroundings but spark a sense of wonderment. They are at one with nature and offer an experience far beyond the ordinary retreat pod. The front of each Wave features a striking, full-width glass window, framing breathtaking views of the lake and/or rolling hills or Juicy Village.

Outside is a generous deck with large, comfy, reclining chairs, an open-air heated shower and our signature cast-iron claw-foot bath in various muted shades of Farrow & Ball. Once you step inside you will find an abundance of features to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including air conditioning and heating, individual Wi-Fi, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, a 50-inch smart TV preloaded with inspirational and educational films, a retro fridge, safe, desk and chair, blackout curtains with voiles, hairdryer, kettle with herbal teas, robes and towels. We also provide authentic Portuguese toiletries infused with essential oils, ensuring your stay is both refreshing and restorative.

Our Bubble Wave—aptly named as it’s the only ‘room’ with a hot tub—sits alone on the side of the hill above the lake, offering sweeping views of the water below, surrounding countryside, and glorious beach. Its secluded position provides a greater sense of privacy than most, along with some special 'extras' beyond what you would expect to find in a luxury retreat room.  On the extended deck area, shaded by a pergola, there’s a stunning hot tub equipped with a soothing massage setting designed to ease back pain.

As a Bubble Wave guest, you will also receive complimentary access to the Escape Spa at any time during your stay, regardless of whether you choose to book a treatment.

Perched at the highest point of the retreat, this unique accommodation offers views over the entire Juicy Village and the surrounding rolling hills. But it’s not just the location that sets it apart —the facilities and ‘extras’ are next level. The Wow Wave has all the things you might expect from a luxury retreat room, plus some special features that will truly elevate your retreat experience.

Enjoy your very own private barrel sauna and ice bath at any time of the day or night. Relax on the sun loungers or work up a sweat in your personal outdoor ‘gym’ space, fully equipped with a spinning bike, free weights, mats, a bench and a TRX. Breathe in the beautiful landscape and feel at one with nature as you practice yoga (yoga mats, blocks, belts and bolsters included) or meditate under your private pergola or on your very own sunset ridge, where you can enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of the retreat whilst soaking up the sunset. Our country-style bikes are perfect for exploring the retreat. However, as a special perk, you will also have use of an electric bike.
